Where We Started
We are a family of climbers with over 50+ years of combined experience in the field, who noticed how the current state of climbing separates into two different groups. The recreational and the professional.
However the transition to get from one group to the other is more difficult than it needs to be. Most recreational gyms don’t provide the tools needed to get to the next level and that’s where we come in. Flux Training Center focuses on those who want to reach their goals in the most effective way possible. By giving you the proper equipment and training needed in order to advance to the next step. Whether that’s to get to the next grade or onto the Olympic stage we can get you there.

What We Believe
Flux Climbing & Training Center has been in the works for a long time and we believe that we can bring something new to the space of climbing that most gyms can’t provide. We have an extensive amount of knowledge in the climbing world due to the many years we’ve spent outdoors, locally, and competitively. We’re very excited to be able to offer a space for all climbers to come to in to work on their goals no matter how big or small.
What We Offer
Flux Training Center is the #1 rock climbing gym in San Diego with access to all the latest and greatest training tools in the climbing world. You’ll have the ability to try out the new Tension Board 2 (the only one in San Diego) and the Kilter Board. As well as a spray wall and bouldering area that has new routes every week. Flux also offers coaching for climbing, or you could learn how to set in our weekly courses every Tuesday and Thursday. On top of all that we have dedicated physical trainers to help you with lifting should you require it. There are multiple competitions and mock comps we host every year as well to help you train for any occasion.
